# Repair disks with fsck
|
|
|
|
Identify file system errors on a disk.
|
|
|
|
Be sure to unmount the device beforehand.
|
|
|
|
```sh

sudo fsck.vfat -a /dev/sdf1
|
|
```
|

|
|
This will automatically apply repairs. An example output:
|
|
|
|
